The Mooovie.ru (Banneon) service has got the Admitad Projects’ interest while our studio was in search of technology for the automated making of video creatives to use in targeted and display advertising.
The CEO of Admitad Projects, co-founder of the investment fund Admitad Invest, Maksim Volokhov commented on the deal:
“We saw a growing trend for video advertising. To speed up the project launch, we decided to find an existing technology on the market. We looked at more than 15 projects and, eventually, settled on Mooovie. It had the best team and technology, and we wanted to use it for implementing our idea.”
The studio invested about 15 million rubles in the project, including through the provided resources: an office space, an experienced product manager, business model and market search, a marketer, designer, accountant, etc.
Market research revealed a pressing need in making not only videos but also static and animated banners.
Today, Mooovie.ru is a service for automated making of static banners and creatives for Google Display Network, Yandex Advertising Network, and social media platforms. Video and static banners are created automatically without block builders, technical assignments, and outside designers. This can save up to 3 working days for your marketer and media buyer, freeing up time for strategy and experimentation. Animated banners will increase your reach and CTR.
The project is in the growth stage. On average, it connects 1—2 new clients per week.
The CTO and founder of Mooovie.ru (Banneon) Alexey Petrovykh said:
“The idea to create such a service arose back in 2014. Those days, using short videos as ads wasn’t as common. We had a great concept, but the market was not ready for it, and the revenues did not allow us to devote ourselves to it entirely. The startup studio gave us the chance to focus on building a business (which is, like, the best) and backed it up with the expertise that we missed. Our short-term plan is to claim our market share in the Russian Federation and then move on with our research of international markets.”
